Emergency Policies

In an emergency, please telephone the surgery before 10.00am to be seen that day. Patients in pain will be seen as soon as possible but it may not be possible to see your normal dentist.

When the surgery is closed our out-of-hour service will give details of our emergency arrangements and can connect you to our on call dentist who will be able to offer advice, or in extreme cases, arrange to see you at the practice, in which case a call out fee is applicable.

Car Parking

We regret that we are not able to offer our patients off street parking at the practice. The car park to the side of our building is for the sole use of staff.

There are, however, plenty of Car Park Zone (CPZ) bays available in Kingsway. To use one of these bays between 9.30 am and 11.30 am, it is necessary to display a parking voucher, which can be obtained free from our reception before you park. After 11.30am, it is not necessary to display a voucher but you must still park within the CPZ bays.

We would ask patients not to park anywhere on the public footpath outside the practice as this obstructs the way for pedestrians, including a young blind resident of Kingsway who regularly uses the footpath and wheelchair users who need to access our side entrance door.
