Dr. Sasikumar, better known to his patients as Joy graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree from Newcastle University. Joy is passionate about helping patients to smile with confidence and delivering exceptional patient care. His gentle manner and attentive approach ensures even the most anxious of patients have a great experience.
Joy was awarded his membership to the Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow in 2020 and has presented at conferences nationally on periodontal disease (the health and disease of the gums). He has also undertaken more advanced training in both endodontics (root canal treatment) and removable prosthodontics (false teeth). He is a certified Invisalign provider and SmileFast practitioner and enjoys helping to restore teeth in the least damaging way, whilst still making the teeth look as natural as possible. He has attended numerous composite (white fillings) courses across Europe including being taught by the founders of StyleItaliano dentistry in Milan, Italy. Joy is active on instagram as @joythedentist where he promotes information on preventative dentistry.
In his spare time, Joy enjoys engaging in volunteering with the British Red Cross, keeping fit and travelling.
