We understand that visiting the dentist can be a source of real anxiety for some patients. Your Journey to Calm, Confident Care

Before treatment, we’ll invite you to a pre-sedation consultation to review your medical history, take blood pressure readings and ensure IV sedation is suitable for you. We’ll explain every step clearly so you feel fully informed and confident moving forward.

On the day of your appointment, you’ll arrive with a companion who will stay with you and take you home afterward. IV sedation is delivered through a small injection that helps you feel calm and detached from the procedure. Most patients describe the experience as peaceful and stress-free. After treatment, you’ll feel drowsy for a few hours and should rest for the remainder of the day.

You’ll be back to normal by the next morning, with no lasting side effects and little or no memory of the procedure.

Who can benefit from IV sedation?
