Implants are a safe and well-established treatment and they provide you with a strong and long lasting solution for missing teeth. Here at our Woking Practice, we have 3 dentists who are experienced implantologists and who would be happy to consult with you about your individual needs.
Implants, very much like natural teeth, will last as long as you care for them. With regular maintenance appointments to ensure the implants are well kept they can last for many years. Implants are done under local anaesthetic and usually, you would not feel any pain at the time. Placing an implant is usually an easier procedure than taking a tooth out. Once the implant is in place it takes about 3-4 month for the false teeth to be fitted. This time is necessary for the bone to grow over the implant.
